Carlos Lira is an accomplished race car driver, NASCAR truck and Xfinity series owner, driver coach, and entrepreneur hailing from Lima, Peru. His journey in the world of motorsports began at the age of 15 when he first stepped onto the racetrack, igniting a lifelong passion for racing.

 

Carlos's early years in racing were marked by determination and a relentless pursuit of excellence. He quickly made a name for himself on the racing circuit, showcasing his natural talent and unwavering dedication to the sport. With each race, his skills and reputation grew, earning him recognition both nationally and internationally.

 

Not content with merely being a driver, Carlos expanded his horizons and became a prominent car owner in the NASCAR ARCA Menards, Camping World Truck, and Xfinity series. Carlos's involvement in three of the NASCAR series further solidified his place as a prominent figure in the racing world. On November 20, 2015, Lira Motorsports made its debut in the Camping World Truck Series at Homestead-Miami Speedway. 

 

Through his team, he nurtured young and talented drivers, providing them with the guidance and support needed to succeed in the fiercely competitive world of motorsports. Some of the drivers he helped coach include Michael Lira, Ryan Reed, Kyle Weatherman, Gray Gaulding, and David Levine. Lira Motorsports also serves as a driver development team for Roush Fenway Racing.
